As part of the TRACEWINDU initiative to drive digital innovation and transparency across value chains, a workshop on chatbot development using Large Language Models (LLMs) and the Azure platform was held at the National Competence Center for High-Performance Computing (NCC Montenegro), hosted by the University of Donja Gorica (UDG).
Our colleagues Daliborka Nedić, AI team lead, and Senka Gajinov, product manager – digital farming, led the session, sharing insights into the evolving world of generative AI. Participants explored practical aspects of building chatbot solutions using Azure OpenAI, including prompt engineering, knowledge grounding, and real-life use cases relevant to agri-food value chains.
The workshop gathered PhD, Master’s, and Bachelor students, as well as AI and HPC researchers from UDG—key TRACEWINDU and EUROCC4SEE partners—highlighting the growing interest in applying advanced AI technologies across disciplines.
In addition to chatbot development, the discussion opened up ideas on combining conversational AI with computer vision and HPC infrastructure—paving the way for intelligent, interactive systems that support automation and improve user engagement in various sectors.
