The final event of the COMMECT project, held in Izmir, Türkiye, marked the conclusion of a collaborative effort aimed at enhancing connectivity and digitalization in rural areas. DunavNET took part in the event, where our CEO, Srdjan Krčo presented the outcomes of our Living Lab and demonstrated the functionality of the Decision Support Tool (DST).
As part of this initiative, we contributed to the development of an AI-powered digital agronomy assistant – the DST – designed to help farmers make informed, data-driven decisions. Integrated with farm management systems and accessible via a messaging interface, the tool was evaluated in real-world conditions within our Living Lab in Serbia.
During the final stakeholder event, participants had the opportunity to see the installed devices (weather stations, sensors, cameras) and explore the DST in practice. Input from farmers, advisors, and local stakeholders confirmed the tool’s relevance for supporting climate-smart and sustainable agricultural practices.
We appreciate the collaboration with project partners and stakeholders throughout the process, and we extend our thanks to the hosts in Türkiye for their hospitality and excellent organization.
COMMECT has officially concluded – but the work and innovation continue.
