Tomorrow, we’re hosting a training workshop in Gospodjinci as part of the COMMECT project. The workshop will be attended by farmers from the Solar Agro Association and representatives from solar generator supplier AluMarkom. Our goal is to empower farmers with the knowledge and tools needed to leverage the agroNET digital agricultural platform and effectively utilize data from field devices, ultimately promoting smart agriculture practices.
The COMMECT project aims to bridge the digital divide in rural areas. The Living Lab in Serbia focuses on advancing digital farming and environmental protection in the Žabalj municipality. It establishes an infrastructure providing relevant parameters from the field such as air temperature, air humidity, precipitation, and soil conditions. Additionally, it enables continuous monitoring of environmental parameters within Nature Reserve Mrtva Tisa, including weather conditions and air and water quality.
