The paper “Cognitive Computing Continuum: State-of-the-Art Review and ENACT Vision & Approach” has been published in the Journal of Grid Computing. Developed within the ENACT project, of which we are a partner, the paper defines the Cognitive Computing Continuum (CCC) – a novel paradigm that enhances interoperability, adaptability, and efficient resource utilization across cloud and edge infrastructures. The ENACT approach introduces cognitive orchestration, distributed artificial intelligence, and sovereign data management, providing a framework for intelligent and dynamic resource management in modern, distributed, and data-intensive applications.
Our experts, Dejan Drajić and Srđan Krčo, contributed to the development of this paper, supporting the ENACT consortium in advancing innovative solutions that bridge scientific research and practical applications, aiming to create technologies that will shape the digital future.
