The Smart Metal project aims to extend the EFPF platform federation with product passport services. EFPF is a federated smart factory ecosystem and a digital platform that interlinks different stakeholders of the digital manufacturing domain.
The main goal is to provide a new service for monitoring workflow and business processes in factories using sensors and the digital identity of the machines.
Validation of the manufacturing scenario integration is with the EFPF workflows. The validation is in the process in the Metalac company where our solution is already used for monitoring the machines for enameled, stainless steel, and non-stick cookware manufacturing.
The development of this tool was partly funded by the European Factory Platform (EFPF) project with funding from the European Commission under the Horizon 2020 Framework Programme.
