At the recently concluded AI Vibe Coding Hackathon, held during Belgrade AI Week, our colleagues, Lana Kovačević and Jovana Kalamković, achieved a first place. They presented a solution that, in just three hours, transitioned from concept to a functional MVP.
Their innovative solution is specifically designed to support children with developmental disabilities. The solution leverages an advanced text-to-speech service for converting text and symbols into speech, with the application of artificial intelligence for formulating complete sentences. The result is significantly easier communication and learning.
The hackathon, organized by Startit, Geek Area, and Young Professionals Club, brought together participants from across the region. The event demonstrated how a combination of modern AI tools, a clear idea, and good teamwork can create valuable digital solutions, even without extensive prior coding experience.
