The SmartAgriHubs Final Event took place on 26-28 September in Lisbon. After four years, the project celebrated its community and its legacy, gathering partners, experts, and European institution members to discuss the project’s results and its perspective.
During the event, DEMETER ran two separate workshops.
The first on ‘Semantic Interoperability and Data Sharing’ explored the latest advances in technologies like IoT, AI and Big Data, among others, which have boosted the adoption of smart farming practices that emphasize the use of ICT in the farm management cycle to exploit the available data.
The second DEMETER workshop was addressed on ‘Women in Agriculture’ following on from the work done in association with SmartAgriHubs and their gender task force.
Trace Labs and DunavNET shared a stand representing H2020 DEMETER at a SmartAgriHubs Marketplace exhibition, discussing the project’s achieved milestones and goals.
