The dRural project is nearing completion, and this month saw the installation of agricultural digitalization equipment in Gradiška. The DunavNET team successfully carried out the installation process despite challenging weather conditions. Producers showed great cooperation and flexibility, enabling the work to be completed on time. Their high interest in digital solutions highlights their eagerness to explore its potential benefits for their production.

One of the producers involved in the project is Ranko Sarajlić who has approximately 300 hectares of land under cultivation alongside livestock production. The equipment installed on Ranko’s fields includes devices to monitor soil moisture and temperature, as well as weather stations with sensors for environmental monitoring.

In addition to Ranko, other agricultural producers in Gradiška are also part of the dRural project. Various devices have been deployed in broiler production facilities, apple orchards, and greenhouses.

dRural project is funded by the Horizon 2020 program of the European Union.
