Blockchain Adoption

We are pleased to announce the release of the research study, “Blockchain Adoption in the Wine Supply Chain.” Authored by a dedicated team including Bojana Mališić, Nemanja Mišić, Srđan Krčo, Aleksandra Martinović, Sandra Tinaj, and Tomo Popović, this systematic literature review investigates the emerging role of blockchain technology in the wine industry.

Blockchain has garnered attention for its ability to enhance traceability, bolster product authenticity, foster consumer trust, and reduce fraudulent activities within the wine supply chain. Employing the PRISMA methodology, our research scrutinizes relevant studies, identifies pivotal research questions, addresses challenges, and presents recommendations for future investigations.

For those interested in the evolving landscape where blockchain intersects with the wine value chain, this study offers valuable insights and a comprehensive overview of the current state of affairs.

This research was conducted as part of the TRACEWINDU project.
